With over 35 years of successful field installations, theMKS, Granville-Phillips Division Convectron® gauge hasbecome an industry standard. It is a unique variation ofthermal conductivity gauges where pressure measurementis based on the rate of heat loss from a sensor wire.Unlike traditional thermocouple and Pirani gauges,Convectron gauges take advantage of heat loss due toconvection cooling at higher pressures. This extends therange of accurate, repeatable vacuum measurements toatmosphere. To assure the highest level of accuracy andgauge-to-gauge repeatability, each Convectron gauge isindividually calibrated at our factory.Convectron gauges are in use today on hundreds ofthousands of vacuum processes throughout the world,making them a wise choice for many vacuum applications.

• Process Setpoints: Relay contacts are available onmost versions to control other vacuum equipment andprovide safety interlocking.
• Digital Display Version: Provides an easy-to-read,3-digit green LED display that automatically adjustsbetween two ranges (Torr and mTorr or kPa and Pa). Ithas two setpoint relays that can easily be adjusted usingthe digital display.
• Digital Interface Version: Provides an RS-485 interfacefor easy compatibility with computer controlledprocesses. It has two setpoint relays that are adjustedthrough the RS-485 interface.
